Text Box: Asset management is the “Cradle to grave” management of physical assets. The asset management discipline is concerned with the optimal management of the assets and timely decision making in order to ensure you have the right asset at the right value to deliver the right level of service at the right time.

A common objective of Asset Management is to minimise the whole life cost of the asset, although other factors such as risk and delivering service also have to be considered.
